Quality Education, Made Affordable.
Scholarships and grants help you achieve more for less.
All Chatham undergraduates receive scholarships, and many also qualify for need-based grants, which help make Chatham’s cost comparable to or lower than many other public and private universities. To get started, complete your Chatham application and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is the first step to be considered for:
- Merit scholarships up to $32,000 per year
- Full-tuition scholarships for top students
- Additional scholarships based on student interests or major
- Need-based grants that can lower costs even more
Be sure to also understand how to factor in the impact of scholarships and aid on the price you pay. Here's an example:
| Start with tuition, fees, housing, and meals. |
| Tuition |
$45,700 |
| College Fees |
$1,190 |
| Housing |
$8,078 |
| Meals (21 per week) |
$7,284 |
| Total: $62,252 |
| Then, subtract your scholarships and need-based aid. |
| Merit Scholarship |
(up to $32,000) |
| Other Scholarships |
(Varies) |
| Reduced Total: $30,252 or less |
| Need-based Aid |
(Varies) |
| Reduced Total: Varies |
| Based on your FAFSA, you may also qualify for additional federal and state grants, reducing your costs further. |
