  • If a student enrolls in fewer than 12 or more than 18 credits, the per-credit cost is $1,494.

Health Insurance Requirement: 
Full-time students are required to have health insurance. If needed, students can opt into the Chatham student health insurance plan offered by UPMC. Contact the Office of Student Accounts for enrollment. 

*Technology Fee: The technology fee is mandatory for all undergraduate students and entitles each student to standard university-provided software (e.g., Microsoft 365), Helpdesk support, campus connectivity and infrastructure, computer labs, and other IT services. Returning junior or senior undergraduate students in the one-to-one university laptop program will be charged a different technology fee, which also covers the laptop, backpack, 4-year warranty (with accidental damage protection), and service costs for the program.  

*College Fee: The college fee is mandatory for all students enrolled in on-campus programs and entitles each student to all student publications (with a minor additional fee for the yearbook); admission to college social events, student-sponsored concerts, and lectures; shuttle and Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) transportation; and membership in the Chatham Student Government, Chatham Activities Board, and all other student organizations. This fee does not apply to students enrolled in fully online programs.

Undergraduate College of Health Sciences students can qualify to live at Centre Ave Suites (CAS). This "per term cost" is based on a 9-month lease. If undergraduate students are interested in living at CAS for 12 months (year-round), they need to speak with the Office of Residence Life to adjust their bill.
